Getting prepared for K-12 education is what will set your child apart from their peers. With nearly 30 years in childcare and early childhood education, Miss Fay has developed an amazing program centered around the concepts of S.T.E.A.M., or Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math, and D.T.T., Discrete Trial Training.
Ages 3 months to 18 Months Hours: 6:30 am to 6:00 pm
Ages 18 months to 3 years oldHours: 6:30 am to 6:00 pm
Ages 3 to 4 years old & 4 to 5 years old Hours: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
Ages 4 and above Hours: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Many school districts in California are making the transition from traditional education to the S.T.E.A.M. structure. With the recent COVID-19 pandemic continuing, every district is making the change now. What will this mean for your child? This means that your child’s education will be based on a kinesthetic approach with the latest technologies. With that in mind, every lesson and activity is based around one of the 5 parts of S.T.E.A.M.
D.T.T. is the second part of the Milestones equation. The process of D.T.T. comes from the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis and is used in ABA Therapy. With a foundation of positive reinforcement, this technique is utilized in working with students who are on the Autism Spectrum. Milestones has adopted this method and modified it to reinforce our S.T.E.A.M. lessons and activities for students on or off the Autism Spectrum.
